Two quilts completed! Black, white and turquoise project was a quilt kit purchased awhile back that added some of my own fabrics stash to (how cute are those little dogs?!). The second project is all Kaffe fabrics and a pattern from Missouri Star (💜 their tutorials). Very different from my usual fabrics…but i must say, I do love all the vivid colors! Thanks for visiting my craft blog today!
Four Birthdays to celebrate at the salon this month! Scarecrows were hand crafted from burlap bags, hats made of coffee filters, faces are hand stitched with buttons and felt and floss. Fall fabrics were torn to create shabby banner that Scarecrows hang on. This marks the twelth and final month for my salon displays! It was a pleasure creating for the amazing stylists at the JCP salon for the past year!
Four Birthdays to celebrate at the salon this month! Adorable Hula Girls made from toilet paper rolls (yes, empty TP rolls) commemorate each and every stylist’s special day. Hair and skirts are hand cut from cardstock and tiny yoyo flowers serve as bikini tops. The facial expressions are hand drawn. A coordinating sign lists each Birthday Girl’s name and date. 💚💜💙❤️
Eight Birthdays to celebrate at the salon this month! Hand cut and scored stars for each and every stylist! Banner made from cream ribbons where each star is tied with baker’s twine. Embellished with buttons, flowers, and of course a gold star! ❤️💙
Three Birthdays to celebrate at the salon this month! Hand cut patterned papers create hot air balloons! A stamped banner for each birthday girl. Felt good getting back to my scrapbook roots, starting with just 12 x 12 papers, scissors and glue! 💙
Two Birthdays to celebrate at the salon this month! Hand cut patterned paper flowers have been inked and glittered! They are tucked in a test tube vase wrapped with a doily and embellished with ribbon. They will be displayed using scotch strips (don’t you just love those scotch strips?). 💚
