New Hobby – Bible Journaling

Well, I have been busy the last few years earning my MBA but now that I have checked that accomplishment off my bucket list it’s time to be creative again. After stepping away from any hands on creativity, I have been struggling to find myself again. My new creative journey brings about new teachings as well as unlimited creative possibilities.

I wasn’t raised in a church and have had no expose to the Bible. In addition to rediscovering my creative self I am reading the “good book.” What is important to me… is finding my own way through it. A dear friend has been named my spiritual guide and has me jumping though the Bible rather than starting with page one. The first section I was assigned was John. I read the words, process their meaning and then I express myself.

I started with the plan of just working in the mediums of stamp pads and colored pencils… as you will see — that didn’t last long. Not only did the paper crafter inside me begin to awake from a long hibernation… she purchased a $5 water color paint palette and LOVES it!!!
